Our story
Doctor's Chemical Works Ltd. began making medicines in Bogura in 1957, which makes us one of the oldest pharmaceutical names in Bangladesh. For nearly seven decades our name has been on prescriptions across the country. Our single facility has grown into a modern manufacturer, earning the confidence of doctors, pharmacists, and families across the nation.
Today more than 50 of our medicines are in active production across the major therapeutic areas. We continue to serve communities with essential medicines while staying true to what matters most: safety, trust, and affordability.

Recent Landmarks
2022
Plant renovated in 2022
The Bogura plant was renovated end to end in 2022. Production floors, utilities and climate control were all brought up to current standards.
2023
Six machines added since 2023
Four new machineries were imported from China in 2023, and another two were installed in 2026. Every line was re-qualified after each addition.
2026
Achieved Export License to begin our first export operation
In early 2026, we received our first export license from the Bangladesh government, allowing us to begin exporting our medicines to other countries.

New flagship products for launch in 2026
Currently, we have 27+ flagship products in the pipeline, and more medicines are ready to launch and will reach the market over the next few months.
