Doctor's Chemical Works Limited (DCW Pharma) has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing capabilities with the installation of a new production line at its Dhaka facility. This strategic investment represents our commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of Bangladesh.
The new production line incorporates cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, including automated dispensing systems, advanced mixing equipment, and enhanced quality control stations. These upgrades will increase our production capacity by approximately 40% while maintaining the rigorous quality standards our customers have come to expect.
"This expansion is a testament to our dedication to serving the healthcare needs of our nation," said the Managing Director. "With this new capacity, we can better serve hospitals, pharmacies, and patients across Bangladesh with essential medicines."
The facility upgrade also includes improved environmental controls, ensuring that all products are manufactured in optimal conditions. New HVAC systems maintain precise temperature and humidity levels, while upgraded air filtration systems exceed regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the expansion creates new employment opportunities for skilled pharmaceutical professionals in the local community. We have added 25 new positions across manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics departments.
The new production line is expected to be fully operational by Q2 2025, with initial production focusing on our most in-demand cardiovascular and gastrointestinal medications.
