HAEMOZIN^® TR

Ferrous Sulfate + Folic Acid + Zinc

HAEMOZIN-TR® is a haematinic timed-release capsule combining ferrous sulfate (elemental iron), folic acid, and zinc for the prevention and treatment of iron/folate/zinc deficiency, particularly during pregnancy and lactation. Iron supports hemoglobin and red blood cell production, folic acid supports DNA synthesis and erythropoiesis, and zinc contributes to immune function and growth. The timed-release formulation is designed to release iron and zinc gradually over several hours to help improve gastrointestinal tolerability compared with conventional iron salts.

Composition

Each capsule contains Dried Ferrous Sulphate BP 150mg (equivalent to 47 mg Iron), Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate USP 61.8mg (equivalent to 22.5mg Zinc), both in timed release form, and Folic Acid 0.5 mg.
