Panprin® 20
Pantoprazole Sodium
PANPRIN® contains pantoprazole (as pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate) equivalent to pantoprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used for acid-related disorders. It works by irreversibly inhibiting the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase (proton pump) in parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion and promoting healing of acid-related injury. PANPRIN is used in conditions such as GERD/reflux esophagitis and peptic ulcer disease, including NSAID-associated ulcers, and may be used as part of H. pylori eradication regimens or for hypersecretory states (e.g., Zollinger–Ellison syndrome) when clinically indicated.
