Atenolol

PRECINOL is an antihypertensive drug. It is a potent beta-adreno receptor blocking agent with membrane stabilizing agent. It controls the blood pressure by decreasing the rate and force of contraction of the heart. The ultimate result is a decreased cardiac output.
