Bisoprolol Fumarate

Recobis 2.5 contains bisoprolol fumarate USP 2.5 mg, a cardioselective (β1-selective) beta-blocker used in conditions such as hypertension, angina, and chronic heart failure. It works mainly by blocking β1-adrenergic receptors in the heart, which reduces heart rate and the force of contraction, helping lower blood pressure and reduce cardiac workload.

Bisoprolol blocks the action of the sympathetic nervous system by blocking the ß1-adrenergic receptors and reduces the heart rate and force of contraction of the heart, thus lowers blood pressure.
